As we close out 2025, it is a time to reflect on the growth, resilience and accomplishments that have defined our year at the Kent State University College of Nursing. Our students embraced challenges and seized opportunities with curiosity and compassion. Our faculty continued to innovate, inspire and guide students to make meaningful contributions to healthcare. I am deeply grateful for the dedication of our students, faculty, staff and supporters. May this holiday season bring joy and rest, and may the new year bring continued growth, discovery and shared success.

Giving Tuesday Campaign Raises $4.58+ Million to Support Causes

Kent State University - Giving Tuesday - #KSU GIVES - Thank you for Inspiring Generosity!

This year, members of the Kent State community came together to support more than 50 featured funds, demonstrating how donors can fuel progress in the areas that matter most to them. From Nov. 1 through Giving Tuesday (Dec. 2), the 2025 campaign raised more than $4.5 million for causes ranging from food sustainability and the environment to athletics and education to basic needs.

Thanks to all who supported the College of Nursing Simulation Fund, which raised $5,120 during the Giving Tuesday campaign. These gifts give our nursing students the opportunity to respond to high-pressure, real-world scenarios, all in a safe, supportive environment. These hands-on experiences are essential for building clinical confidence, critical thinking and compassionate care.
