Join Kent State in an adventure to Rwanda
(and support students along the way!)
World in a Flash Rwanda 2027
The World in a Flash is a travel program exclusively available through Kent State for our alumni and friends, providing you with the chance to travel and study abroad as our students do. There’s no travel agency or other universities involved; just lifelong learning opportunities for Golden Flashes as you deepen connections and explore new places and behind-the-scenes experiences available only through Kent State connections abroad.
Most importantly, a portion of funds raised go to support study abroad scholarships, making this life-changing experience accessible to even more Kent State students.
Join us Oct. 17-23, 2027, as we travel to Rwanda, a country that offers an unprecedented wildlife experience alongside a rich history of reconciliation, environmental policy leadership, public health and entrepreneurship. Our alumni cohort will visit the Kent State location in Kigali to mark the opening of the Kent State Fashion Program in Rwanda and tour the home of the Kent State Aeronautics Program. Other stops will allow alumni to study the Rwandan Genocide, engage with a university partner who runs an NGO and experience Africa’s unique wildlife up close.
If you are interested in learning more, please enter your contact information below. We will be in touch soon with more information, pricing and a registration link to RSVP for the trip if you are interested.
