The Badar-Kauffman Conference (BKC) on Special Education Research aims to improve the quality of special education research and provide a high impact event for researchers to hone their skills. All participants have a shared goal of advancing the rigor and utility of scientific research, logical thinking and conceptual analysis in special education. Attendees are expected to engage with presenters in critical discussion on conceptual, methodological and practical issues. All sessions including oral presentations, panel discussions, poster and networking sessions are intended to be highly interactive, and anyone with an interest in research in special education and related fields is encouraged to attend.
