Art Show and Professor Okhantah Retirement Celebration

The Black Alumni Chapter Art Show is designed to bring graduates together in a creative, engaging environment that celebrates connection, community and school pride. The event begins at 4 p.m. and provides alumni with meaningful opportunities to network, share experiences and strengthen professional and personal relationships. By showcasing art created by alumni and students, the event also highlights the talent, creativity and cultural contributions within the Kent State community.

As part of this event, we are pleased to celebrate the retirement of Professor Okhantah starting at 6 p.m. The theme, Art and Storytelling, honors his remarkable career and contributions, and highlights the creativity, connection and shared experiences that have shaped his professional journey and the university community.
