About the Organization: The Kent State LGBTQ+ Center supports an inclusive environment on all Kent State campuses, advocates for all individuals and campus and community groups based on sexual and gender identity, and builds community and a sense of belonging.The center is a welcoming environment for LGBTQ+ students and their allies. The informed staff strives to educate the campus community about sexual orientation and gender identity to ensure Kent State University remains a safe space for all students.
Volunteer Tasks: Volunteers will write notes of encouragement to LGBTQ+ students during Flashes Give Back Week. This is a way to remind a student that they matter and that you care. All are welcome to participate!
