About the Organization: Homesafe Inc. has been a dedicated shelter and service provider, offering 24/7 support and advocacy for survivors of domestic violence and their families since 1978.They are the only domestic violence shelter in Ashtabula County. In 2024, Homesafe, Inc. incorporated Human Trafficking shelter and services. So now Homesafe serves victims of human trafficking as well as victims of domestic violence.
Volunteer Tasks: Volunteers will be helping to construct raised bed garden boxes that will be placed at the Homesafe location to start a new gardening program for their residents. Tasks could include cutting, nailing, sanding, painting, etc. of the garden boxes.
