About the Organization: Fellows Riverside Garden and Ford Nature Center are both located in the city of Youngstown and are operated by Mill Creek MetroParks. Fellows Riverside Gardens is a free public garden located at the northern end of Mill Creek Park. This twelve-acre display garden features a landscape of remarkable beauty with diverse and colorful plant displays, roses of all classes, seasonal displays of annuals, perennials, flowering bulbs and scenic vistas. Fellows Riverside Gardens is one of Ohio?s finest public gardens and attracts more than 400,000 visitors a year.

The Ford Nature Center redevelopment project was completed in 2023 and was designed to improve, enhance and expand the Ford Nature Center to better serve the community?s nature education needs.
Volunteer Tasks: Volunteers will be mulching and landscaping flower beds at Fellows Riverside Gardens and Ford Nature Center, and planting roses in the rose garden at Fellows Riverside Gardens.
