About the Organization: Streetsboro United Methodist Church helps create and distribute sleeping mats for the homeless in Northeast Ohio.
Volunteer Tasks: Volunteers will cut plastic grocery bags into strips and loop and ball the plarn to crochet sleeping mats. Crocheters are greatly needed. Donations of plastic bags will be accepted at a drive-in/drop off location at the Church on April 18. Surplus bags will be donated to the Kent Special Olympics Bench Project.
