About the Organization: The mission of Reese's Heart is to serve others by providing basic necessities, and improve the quality of life for those at risk or experiencing homelessness. Reese's Heart was started by an eight-year old girl named Reese, based on her heart for helping those experiencing housing insecurity. Reese and her family collect and distribute donations to those in need, by making 'blessings bags' filled with toiletries, snack items and words of encouragement. Reese's Heart hopes to inspire others to take action by providing aid to the homeless through service and/or donations.
Volunteer Tasks: Volunteers can use the provided Amazon WishList to purchase essentials such as toiletries, socks and snack items to be delivered directly to Reese's Heart. The items will be used by the organization to fill care packages, known as blessings bags, to be distributed to those at risk or experiencing homelessness.
