About the Organization: Zooniverse is a citizen science web portal owned and operated by the Citizen Science Alliance. It is home to some of the internet's largest, most popular and most successful citizen science projects.
Volunteer Tasks: Volunteers will be acting as citizen scientists and participating in the squirrel mapping activity, identifying black squirrels from their captured photos via Zooniverse. By engaging with the SquirrelMapper project, participants will contribute to an important scientific discovery about evolution in action in our own backyards. This opportunity is virtual and will begin at 7 p.m. PDT (10 p.m. EDT).
