    • About the Organization: Peace Education Initiative Rwanda (PEACEDU) is a non-government organization which aims to prevent genocide and mass atrocities through education. PEACEDU is focused on healing the wounds caused by the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda, teaching peace education, working closely with vulnerable genocide survivors and perpetrating those who confessed their role in the genocide to better improve their lives with reconciliation and peacebuilding. It is also equips affiliated youth clubs with human rights education, critical thinking, empathy and a responsibility to reject violence.
    • Volunteer Tasks: Volunteers will help create a content library for PEACEDU by interviewing survivors and perpetrators during Flashes Give Back Week. Volunteers will then be asked to write profiles based on the interviews. Please note this opportunity requires significant writing experience and is best suited for journalism and communications professionals, or those in a related field.
