Black Alumni Chapter Homecoming Weekend Events (Sept 27-29)

Join the Black Alumni Chapter during Homecoming weekend at any of the following events to reconnect with fellow Flashes and see what’s new at Kent State! Get your tickets by Sept. 14 to get early bird pricing.

• Event #1: Marketplace and Dance
  • When: Friday, Sept. 27, at 6 p.m.
  • Where: Oscar Ritchie Hall
  • Tickets: Free
  • Description: A space for alumni to celebrate prior to Saturday's Homecoming events and reconnect in Oscar Ritchie Hall to learn more about the Black Alumni Chapter and university programs and services.
• Event #2: Tailgate
  • When: Saturday, Sept. 28, at 11 a.m.
  • Where: Dix Stadium Parking Lot
  • Tickets: Free
  • Description: Join the Black Alumni Chapter for a tailgate before the Golden Flashes take on the Eastern Michigan University Eagles in the Homecoming game. The chapter will begin festivities at 11 a.m. Stop by to meet up with old friends and connect with new alumni!
• Event #3: Social
  • When: Saturday, Sept. 28, at 5 p.m.
  • Where: Oscar Ritchie Hall
  • Tickets: Free
  • Description: Black Alumni will gather for light refreshments and to network and socialize at Oscar Ritchie Hall and the commons from 5-7 p.m. after the football game.
• Event #4: Brunch
  • When: Sunday, Sept. 29, at 10 a.m.
  • Where: Oscar Ritchie Hall
  • Tickets: $20 - through Sept. 14 | $25 - after Sept. 14
  • Description: The Homecoming festivities continue with brunch Sunday morning. Enjoy a delicious meal with the Black Alumni Chapter and fellow Flashes at Oscar Ritchie Hall.
