You are cordially invited to attend the Kent State University School of Art’s inaugural Curlee Raven Holton and Raven Fine Art Editions Distinguished Art Fellowship lecture featuring American sculptor and painter Willie Cole on Thursday, Nov. 9. The reception will begin at 4 p.m. and the lecture will begin at 6 p.m. Willie Cole’s work will be exhibited in the School of Art’s Center for the Visual Arts Gallery Oct. 24 - Dec. 1. Cole lives and works in New Jersey and his work has been the subject of several one-person museum exhibitions at the Museum of Modern Art, Bronx Museum of the Arts, Miami Art Museum, Montclair Art Museum and more. The Curlee Raven Holton and Raven Fine Art Editions Distinguished Art Fellowship invites artists of national and international reputations to interact with KSU students, staff and the broader community. This exhibit is presented with support from the Ohio Arts Council.
