Dog Days of Summer

Our adoration for both our furry friends and the picturesque Kent Campus runs deep, and we’re thrilled to extend a warm invitation to you and your beloved pup(s) to join us for an evening stroll through our alma mater.

As the sun sets, we’ll embark on a leisurely journey along designated doggie routes. During the walk, you will have the opportunity to witness the latest developments on campus with fellow Flashes. After the walk, each pawticipant will receive an honorary degree and enjoy a pint or yummy treat during “Yappy Hour” to celebrate their achievement.

Can’t make it in person? Take your pup for a walk on Saturday, Aug. 3 and share your heartwarming snapshots on social media, spreading the joy of our furry companionship by tagging #FlashesForever and #FlashesFurever.

Leash up your pups and make memories to last a lifetime through Dog Days of Summer, where the bonds of friendship and the wag of a tail unite us all!

Tickets also include a $5 donation to the Kent State Police Department's K-9 Program Fund.

To join us in person, purchase tickets by July 26 or while supplies last. 

Virtual participants that wish to receive their honorary degree by Aug. 3 should register by July 21.
