Please join the Kent State University Department of History for our third annual Homecoming event.

We are partnering with the May 4 Visitors Center this year for a panel titled An American Tragedy: Kent State on the Page. Kevin Adams, history department associate professor, will guide Brian VanDeMark of the United States Naval Academy, Gregory S. Wilson of the University of Akron and May 4 survivor Thomas M. Grace, ’72, Ph.D. ’03, of Erie Community College in discussing VanDeMark’s new book, “Kent State: An American Tragedy.”

A Q&A session will follow the panel, and books by all three authors will be available for purchase at a signing. After, please join us for a reception from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. in Bowman Hall, Room 218.

Registration is no longer available because the registration deadline has passed.
