Join us to celebrate the release of the new book “No Hand Held Mine: Stories” by Kim Soom and translated by Joon-Li Kim and Doo-Sun Ryu and the opening of “Remember Her,” a new fashion installation by College of the Arts Associate Dean Kim Hahn and School of Fashion Professor Ja-Young Hwang with the support of School of Fashion student Sang-Hyun Park.

Together, “No Hand Held Mine” and “Remember Her” illuminate the resilience of Korea’s “comfort women” and open pathways for connection across culture, media, memory and language.

The evening’s free event includes a reception and book signing followed by a reading.
