The fifth annual Pilot Pinning Ceremony and Dinner will be held Thursday, Sept. 10, and will recognize students pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Professional Pilot from Kent State. Students will receive their first set of wings to symbolize successfully earning their Private Pilot Certificate or completing their first Kent State flight course. Students who have received Certified Flight Instructor certifications will be honored with an additional set of wings to commemorate this transition from student to mentor.
Alumni who will be pinning students and students receiving their pins may attend this event free of charge. If you would like to bring a guest, please purchase additional tickets ($40 each) through our registration page.
