Immerse yourself in an unforgettable afternoon of storytelling and music at Kent State's E. Turner Stump Theatre. Inspired by a true story, “Bright Star” is a deeply emotional musical that weaves an uplifting journey of love, loss and redemption across the American South of the 1920s and 1940s. Your afternoon begins with an exclusive pre-show lunch at 12:30 p.m., where you and fellow alumni will enjoy a delicious meal and hear behind-the-scenes insights directly from the director, Amy Fritsche, before taking your seats for this soul-stirring performance at 2 p.m.
