Join us for a big band concert featuring seven-time Grammy nominee Bobby Sanabria. The legendary drummer, composer and cultural ambassador of Latin jazz brings his dynamic energy and expertise to Kent State on Thursday, Oct. 9, at 7:30 p.m.

Sanabria has performed with genre-defining artists, including Dizzy Gillespie, Tito Puente and Celia Cruz, and is known for his leadership of the Manhattan School of Music Afro-Cuban Jazz Orchestra.

A reception will follow the performance.
